Enrollment period approaching for LAS Specialized Retirement Incentive Program

Earlier this year, the Iowa Board of Regents approved a Specialized Retirement Incentive Program (SRIP) for eligible tenured faculty in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Two retirement incentive options are available to eligible faculty, with a mix of retirement contributions and other benefits. Details on eligibility, options, and important dates can be found here: https://www.hr.iastate.edu/reimagining-las
Interest can be initiated in Workday beginning October 3. More detailed information will be available in the upcoming weeks.
Please keep these important dates in mind if you are considering this opportunity:
- Deadline for expressing interest in SRIP participation if a December 31, 2022 retirement date is requested: November 1, 2022
- Deadline for expressing interest in SRIP participation if retirement date is after December 31, 2022: December 2, 2022
- No requests will be accepted after 5:00PM on December 2, 2022
- The latest retirement date allowed will be June 30, 2023.
