Phillips named APS Rising Star

Associate professor Alison Phillips was selected as a Rising Star in the Association for Psychological Science (APS). The honor is awarded to “the best and the brightest of psychological science,” according to Sarah Brookhart, executive director for APS.
Phillips was recognized for her early accomplishments in high-quality published works, her significant achievements in research, and the impact of her work on the broader community.
Dr. Phillips’ research focuses on the co-dependence of behavioral theory and methodology for optimal promotion of long-term behavior change. She delivered the fall 2016 LAS Dean’s Lecture Health-Related Habits…Scientifically Speaking in November, 2016.
Phillips will be recognized in the January issue of the APS Observer.
