The recently launched International Adventure Learning Community was designed to allow freshman international students to enroll in online classes if they are unable to travel to the United States due to COVID-19.
In addition to taking classes with international students who share the same major/area of study, students in this community will have access to upper-level peer mentors who will support them through their first semester. The learning community is more than taking classes with other students. It provides ways to learn about Iowa State through online experiences.
The International Adventure Learning Community will also support international transfer students. They will also have the opportunity to work closely with advisors in their college/department to explore online course options.
