Part 1: World Languages and Cultures Showcase
11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
3rd Floor Pearson Hall
Join students, faculty, and staff to celebrate and showcase the study of world languages at Iowa State. Representatives from advising, language clubs, career services, WLC programs, study abroad, and the Language Studies Resource Center will be present and happy to discuss the practical benefits of studying languages and cultures in our department and answer any questions.
Part 2: Career Day Workshop
3:40 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
2115 Pearson Hall
The workshop will feature two 30-minute panels and a Q&A Session. The first panel, “Early Career Preparation and Experience,” will be led by former and current WLC students as well as speakers from LAS Career Services. For the second panel, “Professional Insight Into the Global Marketplace,” specialists from leading international Industry will discuss how WLC students can position themselves for employment.
