Drop in for a spring break staycation with Cyclone Support Central

Cyclone Support Central, a student-facing space that highlights campus support services, is inviting faculty and staff to drop in for Staycation at Cyclone Support Central, a spring break drop-in event hosted March 18 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in room 140 Parks Library.

The event offers a “staycation” reset with a hydration and snack bar, Barks@Parks-style pet therapy, and five-minute chair massages (sign up for a time as available upon arrival). Additional wellness activities will be available, designed to support rest and recharge during a busy point in the semester.

The staycation event provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to experience the space, learn more about its purpose, and explore how it supports student success through connections to resources and low-barrier wellbeing programming.

Visitors also will be able to learn more about Cyclone Support Navigators, trained student staff who help connect students to campus support, and Cyclone Support: Creating a Culture of Care training for faculty/staff and student leaders, which is available to complete in Workday. Cyclone Support Training builds skills in identifying potential wellbeing concerns and connecting students to appropriate resources.
