Host an LAS Week 2026 event

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) is gearing up for an exciting week of celebration! LAS Week returns March 23 – 27, bringing together students, faculty, alumni, and community members to highlight the college’s wide-ranging academic strengths – from the physical and life sciences to communications, arts, humanities, and social sciences.

This week-long celebration features core events hosted by the college, alongside a variety of events organized by LAS departments, student clubs, and programs. Whether it’s a competition, demonstration, exhibit, or appreciation event, LAS Week provides the perfect opportunity to showcase academic achievements, foster connections, and create lasting memories.

Departments and student organizations are encouraged to schedule their spring semester events during LAS Week to take advantage of increased promotional opportunities. By joining the celebration, individual events gain further visibility, enhancing participation and engagement.

To ensure your event is included in the printed materials for LAS Week, please submit the event name, a brief description, the date and time, and the event location to Roger Rivera (rxrivera@iastate.edu) by Friday, February 20. Event details submitted after this deadline will still be included in digital promotional materials but may not appear in printed materials.
