Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology to host Joel Sartore lecture

The Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology, together with support from CALS and LAS, will be hosting public lecture by Joel Sartore, founder of National Geographic’s Photo Ark project on Thursday March 26th at 6PM. Mr. Sartore has spent the last 25 years traveling the world to photograph 17,823 species for the Photo Ark, an effort to document species before they disappear and to raise awareness around extinction. His work is featured widely, including in National Geographic, which sponsors the project.

His talk will appeal to a general audience (including kids!). Please share this with faculty, student clubs/groups, advisors, and the broader ISU community

Faculty and instructors, please also consider giving this as an extra credit opportunity for your students. This event is available on the Lectures Committee website. Faculty and instructors can register their class(es) through the attendance tracking system. This seamlessly tracks student attendance; whether it is encouraged by faculty for extra credit or simply for the benefit of learning.
