From shaping curriculum to making recommendations on promotion and tenure, members of LAS committees impact the everyday operations, outcomes, and overall LAS experience for students, faculty and staff. The college is currently seeking nominees from all departments to fill upcoming vacancies within LAS committees, and faculty are encouraged to nominate a colleague or self-nominate if any of the committees would make a great match for personal expertise, experience, and interests. All LAS faculty members with at least six semesters of service are eligible to serve on most college committees. Some committees will need substitutes for a semester or the year.
