Active United Way campaign ends, but contributions still accepted

The 2025 LAS United Way campaign has officially wrapped up, and our faculty and staff have generously donated almost $26,000 (73%) toward our $35,000 goal so far. That is amazing – thank you! You can view Iowa State’s United Way campaign totals here.

Even though the active LAS United Way campaign is over, you may still contribute! Please donate using Workday, a secure card transaction on the United Way page, or through Venmo. To donate using Venmo, open the Venmo app, search for @UnitedWayStoryCo, and type in the amount you wish to donate (Pay). The last four digits of the Venmo account are 2045. Important: Please type #LAS_ISUCampaign where it says, “What’s this for?”.

The prettiest pet(s) are …

The first annual “Picture-Perfect Pets” fundraiser had a three-way tie for first place! This year’s prettiest pets are Bailey the wild turkey, who resides at Associate Dean for Strategic Innovation Monic Behnken’s home; Wonder the dog, also owned by Behnken; and Wilson the dog, owned by Megan Myers, interim associate dean of student success. Thanks to all who participated!

Gift card winners
