The Scientific Illustration and Visualization program is proud to present Healthapalooza 2025! This week-long competition is hosted in collaboration with Mary Greeley Medical Center and challenges all Iowa State students to develop innovative solutions to a pressing community health concern.
This year’s competition will take place October 19 to 24 and is open to all Iowa State students, regardless of major, college, or class standing. Registration will remain open until October 19.
The event begins with a kickoff on Sunday, October 19, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. Students will form teams and spend the week developing innovative ideas to solve a community health concern. The competition will conclude with a showcase and awards ceremony on Friday, October 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, where teams will present their solutions and prototypes.
All faculty, staff, and community members are invited to attend the showcase.
