There’s still time to donate to United Way

United Way of Story County unites local resources to uplift our neighbors. It is a community-based, community-run organization that relies on community support. Your compassion and generosity make a profound difference!

This year’s LAS United Way campaign will soon wrap up on Oct. 15. We’re getting closer to reaching our $35,000 goal, but we need your help!

You may donate using Workday, a secure card transaction on the United Way page, or Venmo. To donate with Venmo, open the Venmo app, search for @UnitedWayStoryCo, and type in the amount you wish to donate (Pay). The last four digits of the Venmo account are 2045. Important: Please type #LAS_ISUCampaign where it says, “What’s this for?”.

Choose your favorite pet!

The “Picture-Perfect Pets” fundraiser is going strong but will also end on Oct. 15. Stop by the second floor of Catt Hall before then to cast a vote for your favorite pet photo by donating $1 (or more!) in the corresponding container. You may vote as many times as you’d like! All proceeds will be donated to United Way.

Gift card incentive!

Any LAS employee who donates to United Way could win one of three $25 gift cards to either Target, HyVee, or Fareway! After donating, simply enter your name and email address into this Qualtrics survey. The three gift card winners will be notified via email at the end of the campaign in mid-October.
