Faculty: Learn how to publish your research in The Conversation

Author: Paula Van Brocklin

All LAS faculty researchers and scholars are invited to attend an online meeting with a humanities editor from The Conversation on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 1-2 p.m., via Zoom.

Whether you are a senior faculty member with numerous publications to your credit or a new researcher just beginning your publications journey, this workshop will help you learn how to work with the editors at The Conversation and spread the news about your innovative research.

Working with The Conversation opens opportunities for scholars to become prominent voices in their fields. According to The Conversation U.S. Author Survey (2023), 86% of researchers reported post-article impact on their careers, including:

  • 57% were contacted by media for interviews in radio, print, or television
  • 36% received opportunities for academic collaboration
  • 24% saw increased citations for scholarly articles
