Help LAS meet its United Way fundraising goal!

LIVE UNITED is a reminder that when we think outside of ourselves, that we have the power to facilitate change. Did you know that a $25 donation to United Way makes a profound difference in someone’s life?

• 8 books for a local reading program
• 1 day of care for a child on the sliding fee scale
• 9 emergency food boxes, enough to feed one person for three days
• 2 days of housing support and services to prevent homelessness
• 6 home delivered meals

The 2024 United Way campaign is underway, and your donation – no matter the size – can positively impact many people in our community. Our LAS donation goal is to raise $35,000 by mid-October. It’s easy to donate! You may make your pledge using Workday, a secure card transaction on the United Way page, or via Venmo. To donate using Venmo, open the Venmo app, search for @UnitedWayStoryCo, and type in the amount you wish to donate (Pay). The last four digits of the Venmo account are 2045. Important: Please type #LAS_ISUCampaign where it says, “What’s this for?”.

Members of the LAS community who donate to United Way could win one of three $25 gift cards to either Target, HyVee, or Fareway! After donating, simply enter your name and email address into this Qualtrics survey. The three gift card winners will be notified via email at the end of the campaign in mid-October.
