The 2023 United Way campaign kicks off on Friday, Sept. 15, with the annual United Way Day of Caring, a community-wide day of volunteerism and service. This year, volunteers from LAS will participate in two worthy projects – sprucing up The Bridge Home in Ames and reading to kids at various Story County schools.
If you would like to participate in the Day of Caring, email Paula Van Brocklin by the end of the day on Monday, Sept. 11. In your email, please indicate which project you’d like to participate in and your preferred T-shirt size. Shirts will be delivered to you on campus before the Day of Caring event.
