Campus Service Day is a terrific opportunity to make a difference in the Iowa State and Ames Communities. Volunteers can participate in a variety of rewarding, fun and meaningful volunteer projects on-campus at the Memorial Union, as well as off-campus activities throughout the Ames community.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Students, faculty and staff are welcome to participate by registering for various projects. Volunteers can make T-shirt dog toys for local animal shelters, beautify College Creek or write letters to hospitalized children, and so much more.
Campus Service Day is coordinated by the Campus Service Council.
If you are unable to participate in Campus Service Day, but still want to give back, Campus Service Council is accepting donations for a canned food and hygiene supply drive.
Donation boxes for canned food items and hygiene supplies will be available at the following locations until Friday, April 22:
Carver Hall Lobby
Kildee Hall Lobby
Curtiss Hall Lobby
MacKay Hall Lobby
Memorial Union Main Lounge
A list of suggested items for each drive is on the Campus Service Council website.
