Iowa State University staff were recognized at the annual Professional and Scientific Council CYtation Awards breakfast on March 24.
CYtation Awards honor and celebrate Professional and Scientific employees, particularly those who might not otherwise receive public recognition. These employees go above and beyond the call of duty while making significant contributions to Iowa State University.
The ceremony, which was held in the Alumni Center’s Reiman Ballroom, opened with comments from President Wendy Wintersteen.
“We have made it through one of the most extraordinary times in our history and we’ve done it together,” Wintersteen said. “And we can come back together in a room like this to celebrate individuals for their leadership, the impact that they’ve had, this is a good thing.”
This year, 41 Iowa State employees were recognized for their outstanding work and contributions. Award recipients included 16 individuals and the members of four teams from across the university.
A complete list of recipients with summaries of their achievements can be found here.
