The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Multicultural Student Success Office is collaborating with the College of Design Multicultural Student Success office to celebrate Black History Month this February with a student art exhibit. Exhibit organizers are encouraging Iowa State students to submit their art that will showcase and celebrate Black artists and Black-centered art from students across campus.
The exhibit will take place February 21-28 in the College of Design gallery.
Students are welcome to submit art in any medium of their choice.
The deadline for submissions is February 11. To submit art for consideration, please click on the Qualtrics link and fill out the submission form.
The exhibit will include an opening reception later in the week (date and time to be determined). The reception will allow artists to share details about their work(s). Anyone interested in submitting performance art can perform live.
