The Professional and Scientific (P&S) Council Professional Development Conference Subcommittee is seeking proposals for sessions that will be offered at the 2022 P&S Council Professional Development Conference on February 23, 2022. Proposals and recommendations are being accepted through Friday, October 8.
This year’s conference theme is “Cultivate Your Adventure: Engage, Innovate, Evolve”
Selected sessions will reflect the theme and fit into one of the four areas of focus: health and wellness, human interactions, leadership and professional resources. Selections will also engage Professional and Scientific (P&S) employees in personal and/or professional development.
Share your expertise
If you would like to share your expertise about a topic that P&S employees would find compelling and interesting, please fill out this online form via the proposal-to-speak track. Please have the session title and the session description ready to include in the online form. A separate online form will be needed for each session you would like to propose.
Recommend a colleague
If you would If you would like to recommend a colleague to speak on a topic, please complete this online form, via the recommendation-for-someone-else-to-speak track. The person you recommend must be an Iowa State University employee or affiliated with Iowa State. The conference subcommittee will review all submissions and determine if recommended speakers will be contacted.
Individuals will be contacted regarding their proposal status by October 29 and each presenter will receive complementary registration for the 2022 Professional and Scientific Council Professional Development Conference.
Conference proposals and recommendations for speakers are due October 8, 2021.
