The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will celebrate the annual Fall Faculty and Staff Convocation and Awards Ceremony on September 7 in the Memorial Union Sun Room. LAS faculty and staff are invited to attend the celebration, which will be held from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The event will feature the presentation of more than 25 college awards as well as recognition of morethan 20 university awards and new LAS faculty and staff. Dean Beate Schmittmann will give the annual State of the College address, followed by a reception. The State of the College address will be recorded for those unable to attend this event.
