LAS is excited to celebrate 2021 spring and summer graduating students. This year’s graduation is highlighted by in-person graduation celebrations and ceremonies on Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8. A few virtual program options are also available.
Faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the college are invited to join the celebrations via livestream on the Iowa State graduation webpage.
LAS graduation can also be viewed via video. A special video will feature remarks from Dean Beate Schmittmann and Brenda Goh, the LAS student marshal (’21 political science), as well as performances by the Iowa State University Cyclone Football ‘Varsity’ Marching Band. This video will be available for viewing on the LAS graduation webpage, beginning on Friday, May 7.
The LAS Master’s and Bachelor’s Cyclone Graduation Celebrations will be held at Jack Trice Stadium at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7 and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, respectively.
The Ph.D. Commencement Ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7 at Hilton Coliseum.
Cyclones Care initiatives will be required at all graduation celebrations and ceremonies:
• Wear a face covering
• Maintain physical distance
• Wash your hands often
• Stay home if you are ill
Tickets are not required to attend the Master’s or Bachelor’s Cyclone Graduation Celebrations or the Ph.D. Commencement Ceremony.
