James T. Andrews, University Professor in the Department of History, working with BBC Producer Chris Ledgard, recently taped material for the BBC’s popular national radio show, “Great Lives.” The show will air in August.
The program will feature Andrews, paired with the celebrity writer of “Silkroads,” Oxford historian Peter Frankopan. They will discuss the topic of Andrews’ previous book “Red Cosmos,” focusing on the life of legendary space theorist Konstantin Tsiolkovskii, one of the first to envision space travel over a century ago.
