Iowa State Research Day 2020 kicks off March 24

Iowa State Research Day 2020, sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) is approaching. The communications committee would appreciate you helping us spread the word about Research Day 2020 in your college communications channels, such as newsletters, social media, websites, etc., beginning immediately and up to the event in March.

Research Day 2020 kicks off on March 24 (7 p.m., 127 Curtiss Hall) with science comedian Brian Malow offering an entertaining keynote address. This event is free and open to the public. On March 25, Research Day will be in full swing with the familiar activities attendees have come to expect and enjoy. Additionally, there are new ways for campus researchers and scholars to participate this year, including poster sessions with a new poster design, known as the #betterposter, as well as a moderated Grand Challenge Networking activity.

Registration to attend Research Day 2020 is now available online. Attendees should register by March 20. More information and news stories about Research Day 2020, as well as past Research Day events, are available on the OVPR website.
