The Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost has allocated funds to support professional development of term faculty. Applications from faculty without access to professional development support from their departments are particularly encouraged. Faculty interested in applying for up to $500 to participate at a professional conference, workshop, or training are encouraged to carefully review the guidelines at https://www-provost.sws.iastate.edu/faculty-and-staff-resources/development/nte
Applications are due on December 1 for conferences/workshops taking place between January 1 and June 30, 2020. Awards will be competitively allocated and recipients will be notified within 3 weeks of the deadline. Details on the submission process and a link to the application form are available online at the URL given above. If you have submitted in the past, please take note of the slight changes to the submission process, it has been updated.
Note: Abstracts for conference presentations do not need to have been accepted at the time of submission of the request for funds.
