The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – in tandem with the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost and the Office of the Vice President for Research – has entered into a subscription agreement to offer faculty members new access to Research Insight, a tool to build successful interdisciplinary research teams and identify relevant funding opportunities.

Research Insight is a search program that helps faculty members identify potential collaboration partners and networks not only on campus but nationwide as well. The tool can be used to identify qualified talent for specific initiatives, build diverse interdisciplinary teams and explore and locate new – or previously unknown – funding opportunities.

Faculty members can gain access to the system after attending one of four Research Insight presentations/trainings scheduled for Thursday, September 26th and Friday, September 27th:

Thursday, September 26th:

  • 11:15 am to 12:15 pm – 2300 Marston Hall
  • 1:15 pm to 2:15 pm – 206 Durham Center

Friday, September 27th:

  • 8 am to 9 am – Ensminger Conference Center (1204 Kildee Hall)
  • 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm– 0108 Curtiss Hall
