The 2019 McNair Above & Beyond Award has been awarded to Corey Welch, a program manager in the Department of Liberal Arts & Sciences Administration. The honor recognizes an individual who has who has gone above and beyond in supporting McNair, as well as their colleagues and students, in improving the university community.
Welch’s work with students in the STEM Scholars Program was recognized by the McNair staff, who unanimously bestowed him with this honor.
The award was presented to Welch at the Annual McNair Symposium, on April 16.
