Five new faculty learning communities have been created–and Iowa State faculty members are encouraged to read about, explore and join these groups. Each community is focused on a particular topic.
Developed by The Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities (CEAH) and the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR), these faculty learning communities are the result of ideas and proposals submitted by Iowa State faculty members.
Designed to connect researchers and scholars from all academic disciplines, these faculty learning communities were developed to lay the groundwork for long-term, collaborative and interdisciplinary research partnerships that address major societal issues facing Iowa, the nation and the world.
Additional information about these five new faculty learning communities, and this effort in general, can be found in this article.
