Feb. 1: 2019-20 Catalog Wrap-up
The 2019-20 catalog is expected to publish in the next several weeks.
- February 1, 2019 is the deadline for submitting 2019-20 degree audit edits to Sarah Frette.
Feb. 15: Experimental Course Proposals
Proposals for Summer 2019 and Fall 2019 should be submitted and ready for review by LAS Curriculum Committee by February 15, 2019. All proposals must be submitted electronically through CIM-X. See the LASCC webpage for guidance.
Mar. 1: General Education Updates
The current LAS General Education List is posted online. The updated list will be posted later this spring. Send proposed general education additions (with syllabi) and requested deletions of existing courses to lasccadmin@iastate.edu by March 1, 2019. Additions can be made at any time; deletions will be timed as appropriate with the release of new catalogs and student course registration.
2020-21 Catalog Preparation
Stage 1: Course-level Edits (numbers, titles, descriptions, adding, deleting, added cross-lists, etc.) for the 2020-21 Catalog will begin as soon as the 2019-20 Catalog is published (sometime in February 2019. To initiate changes, login to the course inventory management system: https://nextcatalog.registrar.iastate.edu/courseadmin/
- Apr. 15: LAS College timeline for submitting course-level edits for the 2020-21 Catalog:
Stage 2: Narrative Edits (e.g. mastheads, 4-year plans, program descriptions, etc.) will take place in the fall and will be due November 1, 2019.
