Please join the ISU Jazz Ensemble I, led by Associate Professor Jim Bovinette with guest orator Hollis Monroe, for this unique, powerful and informative cultural concert designed to both entertain and educate.Presented in recogniton of Black History Month, this concert will combine live jazz, spoken remarks, and visual presentations to draw attention to the city of East St. Louis and its historical influence upon the Civil Rights Movement.
