English Department hosting 37 middle and high school teachers from Brazil

The English Department is delighted to be hosting 37 Programa de Desenvolvimento Profissional para Professores de Lingua Inglesa nos EUA (PDPI) middle and high school teachers from Brazil. They are here on a CAPES/Fulbright English language teaching certificate partnership program funded by CAPES. PDPI teachers engage in rich professional development courses; U.S school visits and class observations; and visits with American host families for dinners and other cultural activities.
