Please help us nominate a talented and diverse group of students, alumni and faculty/staff for the following awards.

Nominate an outstanding senior for the WALLACE E. BARRON ALL-UNIVERSITY SENIOR AWARD.

The Wallace E. Barron All-University Senior Award was established in 1968 to recognize outstanding ISU seniors who display high character, outstanding achievements in academics and university/community activities, and promise for continuing these exemplary qualities as alumni. Applicants must be an undergraduate student with senior classification status (90+ credits) and a 3.0 (cumulative) GPA at the end of fall semester 2017 (seniors graduating fall 2017 are eligible to receive the award). The recipient receives recognition at a luncheon in April and an ISU ring. Nomination forms for the Wallace E. Barron award is available online.

Nominate young, outstanding alumni for 2018 STATEment Makers.

The ISU Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the annual STATEment Makers, which recognizes ISU graduates ages 34 and under who have reflected the spirit of ISU by making a difference in their own lives or the lives of others. Alumni may be nominated for their accomplishments in the following categories: scholastic, career achievement, personal achievement, entrepreneurial spirit, and service. The STATEment Makers will be recognized in VISIONS magazine and ISU News Flash in the spring and summer, as well as on the ISUAA website year-round. Nominate your favorite current or past ISU employee for the Faculty/Staff Inspiration Award.

Nominate a current or former ISU faculty or staff members who had a significant influence in your life as students at ISU. Nominees may be anyone who is or was employed by ISU and need not be Iowa State alumni. Nominators must have attended ISU as a student but need not to have graduated from ISU. Nominations should be submitted based on the impact the ISU faculty or staff member had on the former students’ professional or personal life. This award may be given posthumously. Recipients will be recognized in May at the ISU Alumni Association Inspiration Awards and Annual Reception. Applications and more information can be found at http://www.isualum.org/inspiration.
