A retirement reception for Dr. David Stuart, Chair of Brass Division and professor of trombone in the Dept. of Music and Theatre, will be held on Friday, April 7 from 3:30–5:00 p.m. in the Music Hall lobby. A brief program honoring him will begin at 4:15 p.m.
Dr. Stuart has served as the music department’s low brass professor at Iowa State since 1976. He has taught thousands of ISU students through his popular Music 102 and 304 courses and has been an influential teacher and long-time leader in our department.
We hope that you can join us on April 7 for Dr. Stuart’s retirement celebration!
