ISU Faculty Research Day

Author: Amy Juhnke

Faculty are encouraged to attend ISU Faculty Research Day and celebrate our outstanding research accomplishments, exchange ideas, discover connections, and help create the future of Iowa State’s interdisciplinary grand challenge research areas. We invite scholars from all disciplines to present a poster, deliver a talk, display an exhibit, and meet new colleagues, as you showcase your achievements and explore new opportunities that embody Iowa State’s far reaching research portfolio. Part of the program will focus on Iowa State’s grand challenge research themes and their connections to all disciplines at Iowa State.

  • Enabling healthy lives
  • Building sustainable human and natural ecosystems
  • Designing next-generation materials and manufacturing technologies
  • Creating data-driven science and information systems for societal challenges
  • Developing global citizens and our workforce

This event will feature Iowa State’s faculty research across disciplines, offer tables for networking discussions, and end with a hosted reception. Faculty from all Iowa State departments, colleges, centers, and institutes are encouraged to attend. Faculty are also invited to present their research, scholarship, or creative activity in timed lightning talks, poster sessions, and/or displays and exhibits.
