“Transforming Gender and Society” Saturday, April 9

Join participants from Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Programs around the state of Iowa as they present topics that include original research, creative work, pedagogy, activism, and thematic discussions. Presentations may take the form of papers, readings, displays, or dramatic readings.

The conference will include a welcome from Beate Schmittmann, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Ann Oberhauser, Director of the Women’s and Gender Studies Program.

Breakfast and lunch will be served.

The event is open to the public. Registration is $25 for participants (includes lunch). Lunch is $10 for attendees.
