April 9: Iowa State’s Student Chapter of AMS to host Science Fair

Iowa State’s Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society will host its second annual Science Fair on Saturday, April 9th. Display your child’s love and fascination for science by encouraging them to complete a science project for showcase. First through fifth graders are invited to create a presentation or poster of their unique findings for our esteemed panel of judges to see and possibly win a prize. The fair is free to enter and there will be prizes for the top projects, as well as a participation award for all entries.

Projects do not have to be weather-related, they can be on any topic. Please forward this information to anyone who may be interested in participating in this event.

Open to first through fifth-grade students.

1st/2nd grade projects: 1-2pm
3rd grade projects: 2-3pm
4th grade projects 3-4pm
5th grade projects 4-5pm
