As a component of programming for Black History Month (BHM), the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs has coordinated the Black History Month Faculty/Staff Spotlight, which highlights one student-nominated faculty or staff member each week during the month of February.

Jonathan Webb, lecturer in the Department of World Languages and Cultures, was selected as the fourth Black History Month Spotlight. Read his story, as well as the story of three other outstanding ISU faculty and staff members, here.

The purpose of the BHM Spotlight is to recognize Iowa State University faculty and staff who identify as Black/African American for their significant efforts to support, advocate for and improve the collegiate experience for Black/African American ISU students. All of the honorees were identified by students.
