Women’s and Gender Studies is planning a Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies undergraduate student conference at Iowa State University on April 9, 2016. The conference theme is “Transforming Gender and Society” and includes issues relating to research, pedagogy, activism, and other topics that students from Iowa colleges and universities would like to present.
The format will include paper sessions, round table discussions, poster presentations and thematic discussions that utilize cross-disciplinary approaches. Most importantly, this will provide an opportunity for people from around the state to meet and learn more about each other’s programs.
