For guaranteed review before registration period, Experimental Course Proposals for Summer 2016 and Fall 2016 should be ready for the LAS Curriculum Committee by February 15, 2016. After February 15, proposals will be considered as time allows. See the LASCC website for more information.
Catalog Updating for 2017-18
Do you teach a course that needs to be updated in the catalog? Are you aware of a course that needs to be updated? Now is the time to initiate such conversations with departmental and program curriculum committee members.
Course-level updates (course numbers, titles, descriptions, additions, etc.) are made in the spring; narrative updates (mastheads, 4-year plans, program descriptions) are made in the fall.
Preferred date for submitting course edits: April 1, 2016 Final LAS deadline for submitting course edits: April 15, 2016 All course-level edits are reviewed by LASCC Cluster Area Approvers and the LASCC Chair.
