Burke contributes to Oxford University Press

Brianna Burke, assistant professor in the Department of English, was asked to contribute to the Oxford University Press OUPblog. Her post explores the control of food as a political weapon in the popular fiction series and movies The Hunger Games and the parallels to our own nation’s current and future situation.

Burke’s current focus is environmental humanities, which parallels the LAS signature theme of Economic, Environmental and Societal Sustainability.
