Celebrate Women’s Equality Day on the Plaza of Heroines

The Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics will celebrate Women’s Equality Day on the Plaza of Heroines on Aug. 26 from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
This year, the Margaret Sloss Women’s Center will co-sponsor the event and the Ames League of Women Voters will staff a voter registration booth so students can register to vote in Story County. There will be free lemonade and cookies for those who register.
