Sandra Looft honored with award from National Advising Association

Sandra Looft, academic adviser for World Languages and Cultures, will be honored with a Certificate of Merit Award from the national advising association, NACADA. Looft will be recognized at a ceremony at the annual NACADA conference in Las Vegas in the fall.

The Department nominated Looft for this award for the Primary Advising category based on her work not only in advising primary and secondary majors, but also working on outreach, recruitment, retention, and general marketing of the department.
