Astronomy 120 – The Sky and Solar System
Are you looking for a great course to fulfill a science breadth requirement? Are you interested in learning more about what you can see in the night sky? Are you intrigued by headlines about Mars exploration and the discovery of other planetary systems? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the summer offering of Astro 120 may be for you. This 3-credit course meets daily from 2:30-3:30 pm between June 15 and August 7, and it makes extensive use of the Iowa State Planetarium. The course is designed for non-science students – all you need to bring is your curiosity and questions about the Universe and our place in it.
