David Peterson, professor of political science at Iowa State University, will become the new editor of the journal Political Behavior effective Jan. 1.
"I am excited by the opportunity to edit the journal and raise the profile of the excellent work on political behavior and communication being done here at ISU,” Peterson said.
The journal publishes original research on political behavior of individuals and organizations such as parties, interest groups, political action committees, governmental agencies and the news media. Political Behavior is produced by Springer, an international publisher of academic journals and books.
Peterson, who researches voter behavior at ISU, is the co-author of two books: “Mandate Politics” and “Religious Institutions and Minor Parties in the United States.”
