Current discipline-specific online RCR training courses to be replaced with a single course

CATEGORIES: Uncategorized

A note from Sarah Nusser, Vice President for Research:

Important changes are coming to the online training option for Responsible Conduct of Research training. These changes apply to RCR training for research supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) or USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).

On November 25, 2014, the current discipline-specific online RCR training courses will be replaced with a single course called the RCR Basic Course.

Anyone who has started completing the currently offered RCR courses must finish by November 24. Partially completed courses cannot be finished after November 24. Individuals will need to start over with the new RCR Basic Course if they haven’t completed all the modules of the previous course by November 24.

A link to RCR online training can be found on the Responsible Conduct of Research Training website.

If you have any questions about RCR training requirements or for help in accessing the online training, please contact Connie Regenold in the Office for Responsible Research, cregenol@iastate.edu, 294-1516.
