Andrew Albinger is the new College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Information Technology Director, effective Aug. 25. A new position in LAS, the IT director will oversee all IT operations provided by the college, said Arne Hallam, LAS associate dean to whom the new position will report. Albinger previously was an IT team lead for the college.
Two new regional IT managers also have been hired to oversee IT services for LAS academic departments outside of Catt Hall. Levi Baber will come to campus to lead IT services for Computer Science, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy, BBMB, EEOB, GDCB, Geological and Atmospheric Sciences, Air Force Aerospace Studies, Military Science and Naval Science.
Brent Moore, an IT manager in LAS, will be in charge of IT for English, Political Science, History, Anthropology, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics, Music and Theater, World Languages and Cultures, and the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication.
Baber and Moore will report to Albinger.
