The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is pleased to provide support for students planning to study abroad. Up to 20 first-time travelers in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences who apply to study abroad within this academic year will be reimbursed for passport application costs. A new U.S. passport application, available at the U.S. Post Office or online at travel.state.gov, currently costs $110 plus a $25 processing fee. Any Iowa State student with a primary major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is eligible for reimbursement up to $135.
